The video begins with 10 copies of Topo Tarot layered on top of each other. The artist’s pale hands scoot them into a stack, then selects one from the pile. The hands flip through the booklet pausing on each page spread for a moment. The sounds of paper pages being turned are crisp and distinct. When all the pages have been shown, the vellum cover is spread open, showing its translucence and the entirety of the colorful line drawing across the bottom of a landscape moving from a bay to a forest to a river to the desert.
