A hand-bound square book with a white cover printed with three rectangles in cyan, magenta, and yellow

The closed book of RGB: a book of optical color blending on a white background. The square book is bound by white cotton string on the left side using a Japanese binding technique. On the cover are three rectangular bars lined up vertically in a square in the colors red, green, and blue.

A video of the artist’s pale hands flipping through the RGB book with occasional sounds of paper pages being turned. The seven images inside each appear on their own page. On the first page is a red colored, grid based pattern of tiny diagonal lines designated as the letter “R”, on the second a different gridded pattern in green for “G”, on the third another pattern in blue for “B”. The next three pages include the patterns of “R+G” layered together, which blend to create greenish tan, “R+B” blends to create purplish red, and “G+B” blends to create forest green. The final pattern layering “R+G+B” creates a complex multicolored plaid.
